Bought this for use in my bedroom. I am a 61 year old with inoperable lung cancer and have not just had difficulty sleeping at night but with awakening dried out and having to spend the first hour or so clearing my throat and lungs of buildup from the night before. I have had so much easier a time with the use of this machine. I live in a dry climate and you can add to that the central heat for the coming winter, even dryer. Yes, this is a small device and seems to operate for about 9 to 10 hours on the low setting before needing to be refilled. It probably wouldn't be as effective for larger spaces. But.... It is ideal for my needs. The ease of cleaning is a big plus and considering the cost an absolute bargain. Would recommend this product to anyone. This is about the third humidifier we have tried. The others were either too difficult to maintain or too noisy.
