I was looking to get a quality brush I could keep for years. So my first thought was to get a Mason Pearson brush, but those prices for a hair brush is completely insane! I just could not see myself spending THAT MUCH for a hair brush. So I searched for some alternatives. I came to Amazon and found this brush and I absolutely love it! This is the next best thing if you cannot or do not want to spend near one hundred bucks for a Mason Pearson.
This brushes performance is phenomenal, there are no snags or tangles, and my hair has gotten this nice lustrous shine to it now since I started using this brush. The handle is comfortable to hold... the perfect grip. Also, the actual bristles are stiff enough but overly stiff to cause any pain while its going across your scalp. Its such a great massage too. I love it, I would recommend this to anyone who wants shiny, organized, soft hair!
Oh and my hair is wavy and curly, and this brush is fantastic on that texture!

I bought this brush because of a comparison to the $150 Mason Pearson hairbrush, (which I hear is excellent)in a magazine I recieve. I decided I had to try it. I still haven't tried a Mason Pearson brush, but I absolutely love this brush. The nylon bristles go all the way through my hair and massage my scalp, it feels wonderful and tingly. The boar bristles go nicely through and make my hair shiny and soft. I bought my daughter one too. I reccommend it, worth every penny and probably more.Customer Review: My new favorite hairbrush

Good Housekeeping magazine gave this a great review so I thought I'd give it a try. I had no idea what the $170 hairbrush was they were comparing it to, but there's no need to pay that--this "imitator" is wonderful! I love the way my scalp feels after brushing. I also got it on sale (10% off all Sonia Kashuk tools at the chain store that carries her line). There was no odd smell as noted by some other reviewers.Customer Review: Better than expected

This brush feels great going through your hair! I would recommend this brush over any that I have ever owned. My hair is down to the middle of my bottom and it doesn't tangle one bit. Unlike usual brushes, this one won't snag your hair. The handle is even comfortable to hold. I would defniatly buy more as gifts. Kudos!!Customer Review: Just as good as Mason Pearson!

I have tried a Mason Pearson brush, and just threw out an old expensive brush and bought this one. The quality is amazing! I'd would not be surprised if Mason Pearson tries to get this brush pulled from the market, because it's just as good but for a fraction of the price! grab it while you can!
