Customer Reviews of KidCo Baby Steps Food Mill, with Carrying Case , 1 food millCustomer Review: I wish I could return it Summary: 1 Stars
I enjoy making baby food for my son, and this seemed like a great tool. Unfortunately, it basically is junk. I cooked carrots and put them in the mill, which stained immediately (so I can't return it). It was nearly impossible to push down to get enough pressure to grind the carrots without another pair of hands, so my husband ended up helping me. A stick blender is much, much easier.
Customer Review: DONT BUY THIS ITEM!!!!!! Summary: 1 Stars
this food mill is awful. cheap plastic, doesn't puree smoothly, and is really really hard to manually turn. the handle is so long, it feels like it will snap right off and you have to push down with all your force on the whole device while turning it. my arm is exhausted from just trying to puree some peas. i threw it in the recycle bin after one try. really bad product.
Customer Review: good item, doesn't puree Summary: 4 Stars
this mill is easy to use and easy to clean. it doesn't puree. i started my 5 month old on carrots last week and used this. it works well but doesn't get the carrots to a straight mush. they kind of remained pellet like. i wish there was another plastic piece with smaller holes. either way it still worked and for the price you really can't beat it.
Customer Review: Adore this little grinder! Summary: 5 Stars
Adore this little grinder! I love being able to feed table food with no special prep and easy clean-up. We eat naturally and organically and this little thing is wonderful! My mom used it when we were kids and now I get to use it with my little ones. We grind up chicken, bananas, macaroni and cheese, peaches, pears, peas, carrots....it's wonderful!
Customer Review: Great Food Mill Summary: 5 Stars
This mill requires some physical work, but its $12 dollars...
You can spend a ton more and get one that probably contains BPA and will do the work for you. I dont plan on using ours long but it does the job and I think its a great little mill. We make a whole weeks worth of veggies and fruit at a time. Takes about thirty minutes.
