Customer Reviews of King of Shaves AlphaGel Shaving Gel, Supercooled Menthol - 5.95 fl ozCustomer Review: great stuff, blows edge away Summary: 5 Stars
ive used edge sensitive skin with aloe edge for a long time and I decided to try this stuff based on some recommendations I read online. It seems expensive, but believe me, all you need is a little dab on your finger for your entire face. You feel this stuff working the second you put it on. You rub a little on your face and it quickly lathers for a few seconds and disappears. As opposed to edge gel, you actually get to see where youre shaving with this stuff, it disappears a leaves a thin invisible layer on your face. I really love the this tiggles your face once you put it on and wash it off, give it a try.
Customer Review: Best Product for Men with Sensitive Skin Summary: 4 Stars
I am a 33 yeear old man and have been shaving since I was 16. I have been cursed with the genes to allow for full beard to grow-in in about a week, but with skin that gets irritaded by the slightest razor burn. I have tried numerous different products including gels, hot foam, electrics of all types with no success until finding the King of Shaves products. The Gel reviewed here is my product of choice for home shaving, and their oils are the perfect product and size for the traveler. I have yet to be dissapointed by any of the products I have tried from this company.
Customer Review: Better than the rest! Summary: 5 Stars
I have a tough beard that is tough to shave. Add to that the fact that I'm usually in a hurry...and I seem to carve my face up far too often. I've tried just about everything from cheapo shave cream to Edge gel to Alba Botanicals stuff and Aveeno.
Some are better than others, but this King of Shaves AlphaGel is better than the rest. I highly recommend it.
I should add that when they say menthol, they aren't lying! If you don't like the tingly feeling of menthol, maybe you should try one of their other shave gels...
Customer Review: The best shave gel. Summary: 5 Stars
I like both the King of Shaves AlphaGel green and blue. The blue has a better scent and is less irritating than the green, but the green is antibacterial for those who are acne prone.
The gels go on and are clear with a little clouding on the face. That way you can still see the gel to shave. I suggest you put on shave oil with the gel for a smoother shave. Also, make sure and keep your face wet prior to application and apply liberally because it tends to dry out over long shaving times.
Customer Review: The King is the Best Summary: 5 Stars
I have found the King of Shaves alphagel to be just right for me. I like the tube it comes in from a traveling convenience perspective but most importantly it allows you to squeeze just the right amount and you don't waste a lot like you do with aerosol cans. You don't see it everywhere so when I do see it I always pick up a couple of tubes.
