The first time I used this I wanted to take it back. It looked like I'd put baby powder in my hair. But at least baby powder is cheap. So I found Bumble and Bumble and it worked great for me. Sure, there's no substitute for freshly washed hair, but the B&B sopped up my oily scalp so good that my hair still looked good the next day, after skipping two days of shampoo - something unheard of for me. My hair is so oily that I can't go one day without shampooing. The one time I did, I put my hair in a pony tail, I got compliments about my "slicked backed" hair. It really felt icky. But the B&B brunette dry shampoo took care of that, and gave my straight hair some really nice body. For those who color their hair, it also has the added benefit of covering your roots when your hair starts to grow out - it goes on fast, much easier than the mascara-type products our there that cover your roots and stretch out time between hair coloring. The downside for me is that B&B is a little pricey and the can didn't seem to last very long. So I'm going to try a less expensive brand, e.g. Batiste Tropical Dry Shampoo, which got good user reviews, and use the B&B once a month when my roots start to show.
