Customer Reviews of Lansinoh 20265 Disposable Nursing Pads, 60-Count Boxes (Pack of 3)Customer Review: new favorites Summary: 5 Stars
Move aside, Medela ... Lansinoh Nursing Pads are my favorites now. I have used both and really liked the Medelas because they were subtle under clothes, absorbed a lot, and has a nice shape. The Lansinohs share all those characteristics and are larger (for a larger breast). Both brands only have one sticky bit. On the Medela, it has to be on top. On the Lansinoh, you can choose where it goes - I find it stays better when it's on the bottom. The Medelas sometimes made my skin itch - the Lansinohs haven't had that effect yet, possibly because they don't get scrunched up as easily.
Customer Review: Good disposable pads Summary: 3 Stars
Relatively good disposable pads, but with cons.
Pros:
*No leaking
*Thin but absorbent
Cons:
*Lots of packaging and they're disposable= creates waste
Each is individually wrapped with plastic (the kind that sticks to your hand and won't get off), not to mention the pads you're throwing away every day.
*Adhesive doesn't always make pad stay in place
*Expensive
So I switched over to reusable cotton pads-- Milk Diapers-- and I am really happy I did. You help the environment, save money, and stay dry.
Customer Review: Beast Nursing Pad Summary: 5 Stars
I love these nursing pads. Have tried several brands, these are my all time favorite. Most discreet (no nipple impression! Like I want to look like I have hard nipples all the time!) Thin with great absorbancy, water-proof backing, of course. Have adhesive if you desire to use it to keep them in place, but I never use it and they stay where they're supposed to. I personally don't like the adhesive feature as I feel it hinders me from discreetly sliding the pad back in place when out in public. I just leave the protective paper on and it doesn't bother me.
Customer Review: Better than Medela Pads Summary: 5 Stars
These are better fitting pads than Medela's. Medela's have a pleat and the adhesive doesn't stick very well. I really like these because they are about 1/4"-1/2" bigger in diameter which doesn't seem like much but it's enough to know the difference. I can't comment on the absorption as I don't leak much at all if any.
Normally the box comes with a small "prize" like a breastmilk bag, lotion, or whatever but the last three boxes I purchased didn't come with anything. I'm sorry to say that I actually look forward to what might be in there.
Customer Review: Best disposable nursing pads Summary: 5 Stars
I have tried quite a few different brands of nursing pads, and I like these the best. They are a bigger diameter than some, which offers more coverage. And they are contoured to prevent them from moving out of place. The simple adhesive works quite well, too. They start out very thin, making them less obvious under clothes, but they can hold an amazing amount of liquid. I have never had a leak with these pads. The only issue I've ever had is some bunching/crumpling that occurs after I've had to move them a few times to allow for nursing.
