Customer Reviews of Lansinoh 20265 Disposable Nursing Pads, 60-packCustomer Review: Best on the market! Summary: 4 Stars
I've tried Gerber (light, medium, heavy, and their thin cotton ones), Johnson & Johnson, and Avent and I have to say that I definitely like the Lansinoh pads the best. Gerber comes in second. The Lansinoh pads are thin, large, hold their shape well, and have sylica gel to absorb any leakage (like the Gerber pads), but they're thinner than Gerber. I found I liked the sylica gel better than plain old cotton pads b/c it kept me drier. The only drawback I've found, and this is the case with all breastpads I've tried, is that the adhesive tab wears off after awhile and it may shift out of place in the middle of the night. So, while these aren't foolproof, and you may still wake up with a wet shirt from time to time, they are the most comfortable to wear.
Customer Review: Worth every penny Summary: 5 Stars
My cousin recommended these pads for me when my daughter was born. I don't know how I would have survived without them. I am very petite but I have very large breasts (D before pregnancy, now DD-E) When my heavy milk supply came in I was leaking profusely. I would easily soak through the Gerber pads I had in a half hour or less and then would leak through clothing. After I purchased these pads I could leave them in for the two-three hours between feedings. Often they would be completely saturated, but they never leaked.
Now, my daughter is three months, I still leak slightly so I wear these every day. The tape does tend to wear off after a while but these pads stay in place very well on their own.
Overall, a great investment.
Customer Review: Great Breastpads -the best out there Summary: 5 Stars
These breast pads are the best out there. I've tried a bunch of different ones, but these are my favorite:
-they are larger and flatter than most, which offers a more natural look than the thick pad (like Avent)
-they are extremely absorbant, I can wear these all night and not worry about leaking, which is not a possibility for any others I've tried (I leak a lot!) But, if you leak a lot as well, something I do at night if I don't want to wake the baby is wear a nusring/maternity tank top (with built-in bra), fold up a cloth diaper/soft big burp cloth, put the breast pads in over the burb cloth. this way the breast pads catch the most, and the rest is caught by the burb cloth and not your sheets!
-the price is great!
Customer Review: Truly the best Summary: 5 Stars
I discovered these pads by accident after I had my first child 5 years ago. They are absolutely the best. They don't show under even the clingiest clothing. The polymer (kind of like the absorbent stuff in a disposable diaper) combined with the formed shape of the pad are great throughout the day, as it makes the pad form to your breast as it gets wet. So, you don't end up looking "lumpy" at all. I tested the absorbency, and was able to fill up a pad with nearly 2 ounces of liquid before it was saturated. They are a little pricey, as compared to other pads, but I have tried a few different brands, and these are the only ones I will wear out. I do buy cheapies to wear around the house, since it doesn't matter if they show or not.
Customer Review: Nursing Mom of Twins Summary: 5 Stars
These are the very best nursing pads, in my opinion. I have tried all the leading brands out there and none have been as comfortable and as absorbant as Lansinoh. I feel confident and comfortable when I am wearing these and have not had any accidental leaks with them so far (4 months of nursing twins). The other brands are too small, or too thick, or just do not stay in place. Even Gerber- which resemble Lansinoh's design- were not as good, and a bit itchy. I had leaks with the Gerber heavy flows!
If you really want to feel secure and comfortable, I suggest the Lansinoh brand. Whatever you choose, I feel it is wonderful that you are nursing your baby (or babies) and congratulations on your new addition(s)!
