Customer Reviews of Lansinoh 20265 Disposable Nursing Pads, 60-packCustomer Review: Very comfortable while being absorbant Summary: 5 Stars
I had gotten these first because of the reviews. I also wound up with free samples of Medela pads. The Medela ones are no where near as comfortable and tended to irritate my nipples when they were sore early on. Also, if you are using lanolin for dryness/soreness, I found that these don't stick to the lanolin, while the Medela ones did. You will notice a slight coloring where the lanolin was touching the pad, but that's all.
I've been using these for 2 months and find them extremely useful, especially at night. Occasionally side-sleeping has caused let-down and while I've woken up with the pads noticably heavy with milk, I didn't have any leaks messing up the bed at the same time.
Customer Review: No leaks ever - perfect product for breastfeeding moms Summary: 5 Stars
I tried the Gerber, Johnson & Johnson and another type of pad that I can't remember the name of and the Lansinoh pads are simply the best on the market. I was horrified when I first started trying different pads because they showed under my clothes and didn't absorb very well. I couldn't imagine that nursing mothers would have to just be relegated to leaky stiff edged pads that poked through your clothes and left wet spots. Then I found the Lansinoh pads... They NEVER leak and they don't show under your clothes because they're tapered just right to form to your breast. I couldn't breastfeed my baby without these. Thank you Lansinoh!
Customer Review: great Summary: 4 Stars
I pumped exclusively with my first child and had no need for disposable pads b/c washable ones were sufficient. With my second child, I did both and I found these to be the best b/c washable ones are not enough. They are large so won't shift when you roll in bed. They are very absorbent though I have woken up a couple times trenched. They are very thin and discreet. Other pads are not as big so not enough overage. I never bother with the adhesives b/c they don't work. They are a must for nursing moms and pumping moms in the first few month when you have lots of milk. I just wished they were softer and less paper like.
Customer Review: Well worth the extra pennies per pad! Summary: 5 Stars
I am a new nursing mom and I am so thankful to have discovered these pads! I started out using Curity pads, tried LilyPadz, used a few Johnson & Johnson pads, but by far, Lansinoh's disposable pads have been the best I've used. True, they tend to cost a few pennies more per pad than others, but try them and you'll rest assured that it's money well spent! Not once since I've started using Lansinoh pads have I leaked -- not even since my son started sleeping through the night. It's amazing what these super slim pads can hold... And the self-adhesive strip is great too, it helps prevent sliding and bunching. Love 'em!
Customer Review: Don't buy any other brand! Summary: 5 Stars
This is my second child i have used these with. Long story short, there have been times when I became extremely full and engorged and for whatever reason, couldn't pump or nurse. When finally able to express some milk, the pad would be soaked full, showed no signs of seeping through... The absorbancy of this pad is unbelievable! I am confident that I will NEVER have a leak in public!
Other pros are that they are large in diameter. I don't use the adhesive tab on the outside of the pad because I don't need it. The pad stays in place all on its own, even in my sleep. It is also extremely thin and discrete!
