I love these bags. I have tried the Medela bags too, but these are far better.
The double-ziploc closure makes me feel confident that there won't be any leaks.
The larger size bag leaves plenty of room for expansion when freezing, and allows me to lay the bags flat in the freezer, then store them sideways like index cards - that makes for a nice organized freezer, and saves space compared to the bulging rounded blobs that the medela bags become.
I am also impressed with the durability of the plastic, I once accidentally caught the edge of the bag in the zipper of my little transport cooler. The zip teeth chewed into the plastic a bit, but after I disengaged them, I was surprised to find that it hadn't made a hole. Obviously I moved the milk into another bag to be safe, but I was impressed at how well it held up.
Plenty of space to write name, date and volume on the the bag.
The only thing I don't like about these bags is the twee "My mommy's milk" crayon-style writing on them. The medela bags do allow you to pump directly into them, but I have never trusted the little plastic strap to hold the weight of milk, so losing this feature isn't a big deal to me.

These are the best bags that I have come accross for storing breastmilk. These hold up in the freezer and they don't leak. They also have a spot at the top of the bag to write how many ounces are in the bag and your child's name if you wanted. They ziploc shut very well, too. I like to lay my bags flat in the freezer and when they freeze I have a nice slim, flat container of milk which saves space in the freezer and thaws quicker. Then I take all of the frozen milk bags and put them in a ziploc freezer bag. I used Medela bags (free sample) thinking that since they are such a trusted name in nursing supplies I would have no problems. I had colostrum pumped and stored in the Medela bags. When I warmed the milk in a container of warm water the bag must have burst and all of my precious colostrum was in the container of water and lost for good. I was so disappointed and right then and there I promised myself that I would stick with these bags which have been so tried and true to me for a while now. I will not experiment again, these bags are it for me.Customer Review: This has made milk storage SO much easier!

I've been through two rounds of storing milk (with my two children) and these bags have made life so much easier! The first bags I tried, by a different company, involved either twisting something around the bag or only one row of seal, both of which leaked as soon as the bag was slightly tipped. These bags have a double row of seal, and I've never had any leakage problems. My commute home is about 30 minutes of twisting roads, so bags have tipped and been somewhat knocked about, again without issue. I've also had the bags in the freezer and then thawed milk in the bags, and I've never had any problems with the bags becoming brittle or affecting the milk.
My other favorite feature is the measurement lines right on the bag. As my daughter grew older, I knew how much she needed per bottle, and I could fill each bag to exactly what I would need, making storage, defrosting and keeping track of my supply a snap. Each bag also has a spot to write the date milk was expressed, so you always know how old your milk is.

I used hundreds of these bags when I went back to work and pumped almost exclusively for five months. Out of all those only one leaked on the seam. I froze almost all that I pumped and really liked how these were able to lay flat for storage. I also liked the double zip to ensure no leakage either. I did not measure according to the bag but instead used the ounce markings on the bottles I was pumping into and then wrote the amount and date on the label with a Sharpie. This was much more accurate and quicker to figure out than looking at the bag to determine how much was in it. Thawing was quick and easy. Much faster than thawing from a frozen bottle. I never used another brand so I cannot compare. Lansinoh bags worked so well I saw no need to try another brand. Price was great too! I had several left over after I finished pumping so I saved them and used them to freeze pureed carrots, peaches, pears, etc. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a reliable and cost effective storage bag.Customer Review: I've tried most, and these are the best!

I highly recommend these to any women needing to freeze breast milk!
When my son was born, I knew I wanted to breast feed, but after struggling for two weeks, I understood why women give up. I had started pumping to increase my supply, but continued to pump and feed my son only breast milk from a bottle. I tried every bag I could to freeze in, even regular zipper freezer bags, as I eventually got about a week ahead. (I was told the other zippers were just as good, and cheaper.) After many (heartbreaking) leaking bags, cost didn't matter. I stopped rotating and just froze the extra. Now with a freezer FULL at five months, my fears of running dry are alleviated a bit. Recently I had to use frozen milk for a couple days, and we had no problem with thawing, taste or leaky bags. (and now I have room in the freezer to try to start making and freezing baby food!)
My son's present and future health are well worth the extra cost.
