I tried every cream and ointment out there and this is the only one that worked. At first I was put off because it seems thick and sticky, but my mother convinced me to try it. Once I had used it regularly for only two days I was convinced. Nursing went from being very uncomfortable to pain-free as soon as I started using Lansinoh.
Keep in mind if you have painful nursing you should check with a doctor or lactation consultant. A bad latch with baby will create cracks and pain that no ointment can help. If your latch is good and you have pain from other things like chapping or dryness, get Lansinoh!
