lice live on the scalp and this product doesn't let the metal actually touch the scalp. it's very difficult to get any lice out with this comb. i used this comb as thoroughly as i could through her hair and only got about 4 lice out. i then had to use the RID shampoo system and i got at least 100 more lice out that way. she was covered in them and the liceguard robi comb only picked up a few, and then it was only the adults that it picked up. it wouldn't pick up the really little ones. it wasn't anywhere near as helpful as i had hoped. i even pondered trying to get my money back because it's a product i will not be able to use. it's just not worth the hassle for the tiny amount of lice it actually got.Customer Review: Amazing!!

My son came home with lice today, and immediately, we went to the store searching for shampoo. I saw this on the shelf and said, "let's give it a try!" and I couldn't believe how fabulous it was! I immediately called the school nurse to tell her, and she was glad to hear that they were selling it so close by. It is fantastic, and gives my son a thrill when there is no stumbling upon a critter! The first hour was not pretty! Tonight, it was sweet music! Have patience, stay the course, and just be vigiliant is the only advice I can give! It's a tough road, but this certainly makes it a little more manageable! Off to smear with oil! When my daughter started school we started getting nits. The chemicals needed to rid us of the nits were harsh, dangerous and expensive. This was one of the products we tried as an alternative. The comb does seem to zap the nits successfully when it finds them. It definitely reduced the need to use a nit comb between applications. The difficulty for me was that despite spending up to 15 minutes a night on each family member it was not enough to completely eradicate the problem. I found that this is a useful product when used in conjunction with other treatments but not as a stand alone treatment.

My daughter came home with lice from pre-school. We tried every shampoo available. She then passed on the lice to her two sisters. We used every lice product on the market. Nothing worked. I googled lice solutions and an ad for the Robi Comb came up. The robi did what no other comb could do. It killed all of the lice within hours. It zaps the lice. It does not kill the egg, but it kills the nits and the live ones. I would gladly do a testimonal for this product. All of the money I spent on bad shampoos that didn't work--was a waste. I bought this after my daughter got headlice. I am pregnant and dont need the chemicals around. I also cant afford the other treatment. So I bought this since I can do it on a regular basis as many times as I need to. My only suggestion would be to make sure your hair is combed out before you use it and make sure your hair is sectioned out as well. My hair is thick and if it got too big of a piece through it it would stop like it hit something but nothing would be on it when it was through my hair.
