I bought these because I thought it was a cool concept, but I was blown away by the fish taste. It wouldn't be so bad, but the outside of the bottle promises that there's no fish taste.
I even ate a softgel capsule of fish oil to compare, like I chewed it up. And, the softgel was more fishy, but not by much. I gave some to my friends, and they all had pretty violent "EEEWWWW!!!!" reactions. But, it wasn't so bad that they had to spit it out, but they're almost that bad.
My recommendation is to teach your kids how to swallow giant softgels of fish oil, and then give them some candy as a reward. Same net result, but you have happier, healthier kids.

+No fish burps, but I couldn't tell if that was because my mouth was already super fishy
+Kids will never eat the whole bottle while you're not looking
+It's good for you
+Soft and gummy
+Good for practical jokes
Cons:
-Tastes like fish
-It will probably make your kids cry
-Doesn't have as much fishy goodness as a regular softgel of fish oil
