Customer Review: If you can get them on?
Summary: 1 Stars

These are very difficult to get on without them sticking to your lips. Make sure you hands are dry otherwise they will start to melt on your hands. Everytime I put these things in they end up sticking to my lips, only the front goes on easily, it is difficult to manuever them to the side of your mouth.

Customer Review: Ineffective
Summary: 2 Stars

This is my first experience with any whitening strip. I found the strips easy to use after getting used to opening the package and looking at where each side went. It takes just a little bit of perseverance and smarts. By the end application took less than a minute. However, I did not notice any whitening at the end of 84 strips. I am pretty sure I put them on correctly.

Customer Review: Making my lips sore...
Summary: 1 Stars

I have been using the listerine strips for the past 10 days, I have been putting them on correctly, following the instructions on the box. I haven't really noticed a difference in my teeth, but my lips have been really sore, this morning my top right side of my uppser lip is swollen, it's not a fever blister, just swollen and sore, I have been noticing that my lips have felt raw the past several days, I thought they were just chapped, but, my lips really never get chapped since I keep lip balm on them...so I'm guessing it's the strips...I was going to try to finish them, but with a swollen lip, I don't think it's worth it.

Customer Review: These are great!
Summary: 5 Stars

This product is just great! Very easy to use, saw results in a few days, and worked much better than other products I've tried. Yes, they are a tad difficult to get out of their package, but once you get the knack they are a snap. Can't imagine how/why people are having trouble using these ... they couldn't be easier and more convenient, duh! Taste fine, too. I definitely recommend them and will use them again. Kudos to Listerine for these along with their super convenient breath strips.

Customer Review: Needs improvement
Summary: 1 Stars

Listerine White Strips seemed like a pretty good alternative to the Crest White Strips. They are fairly cheap, you can pick them up at Walmart for approximately $20. This product promises whiter teeth in 14 days. Like the Crest White Strips Classic, the Listerine White Strips are supposed to be applied to the teeth twice a day. However, unlike the Crest strips, these strips are supposed to dissolve in your mouth in about ten minutes... and this is where I think the main problem begins, which ironically, is the product's main selling point. I was skeptical of this product from the start, but because I am a fan of Listerine mouthwash, I decided that perhaps I should give these a try. Unfortunately, my doubts became reality after I had completed a course. I always had a feeling that if this product really dissolves in 5 - 10 minutes, then that obviously means the whitening agent isn't applied to the teeth for a long enough time to really do anything. And that's exactly my results after using these for the first 2 weeks: absolutely no change.

Another problem with this product is that there are no second chances. The strips immediately adhere to the teeth (and really stick instantly to anything wet) so if the teeth aren't covered well the first time applying the strips, then too bad. It's not like the Crest Strips where they can be adjusted. Applying the strips to the upper isn't too bad, but the lower teeth can present a problem.

One thing I do want to address, though, is the amount of constant whining over the taste of the product. Review after review after review seems to complain about the taste of the product, with very little addressing whether or not the product is actually effective or not. I, for one, don't think the taste is bad at all, and in fact, I can hardly taste it. It makes me wonder if some people are putting the strips on backwards (the peroxide is only on one side of the strip). And this is really beside the point anyway. This is a tooth whitening product. It's not like you're taking a bite out of a strawberry cheesecake. The main focal point on this product should be whether or not it really whitens teeth, not whether or not it tastes like grandma's homemade apple pie.

I have been using the Crest White Strips Premium's lately, and I can honestly say they are far superior. And they make more sense, as the peroxide is actually held to the teeth for an hour a day, unlike these which only hold the peroxide to the teeth for about 20 minutes a day.

Overall, I think this product is a waste of money. My main goal with this product was to whiten my teeth, and I honestly saw absolutely no change whatsoever with them.

You know you got a real money waster when the manufacturer does nothing but advertise how "convenient" the product is but remains mysteriously silent about the actual whitening results.
