This Spare Filter Set works with the Dr. H2O Professional Faucet Filter from Liv Sure and includes two carbon filter, one copper, and one magnetic all in one easy to install package. The Dr. H20 Professional Faucet Filter from Liv Sure is a four stage water filter that removes thousands of contaminant types and improves taste, odor, and appearance of your water. An independent lab found the Dr. H2O to be 99% effective for the most common pollutants tested. The first stage is an activated carbon pre-filter that reduces large particles such as sand,dirt, silt, scale and rust particles, preserving the other filters. It also reduces chemicals that cause bad tastes and odors. The second stage is a granulated activated carbon filter which is one of the most powerful absorbent materials known to man, and the coconut shell type used on the AMF is generally recognized as the most effective type of carbon filter. The third stage is a KDF copper filter which removes more than 95% of chlorine, iron, heavy metals, hydrogen sulfide, and other contaminants from water. A perfect complement to the carbon filter as it removes pollutants the carbon filter can not such as some micro-organisms including bacteria, algae and fungi. They also prolong the life and increase the effectiveness of carbon filters by reducing chlorine build-up. The final step is a magnetic filter which is proven to reduce and even eliminate lime scale and magnetized water hydrates the body better.
