These clippers seemed a great idea, but sadly don't work for heavy large toenails. The shafts are too insubstantial and bend so much the plastic handles touch, preventing the blades from cutting at all. Even if you distort them to allow the plastic handles to slide past each other, the shafts simply bend even further, leaving toenails laughing at you.
