Customer Review: Cheap But Basic Hot Water Bottle

For $5 this is a very inexpensive, no frills, hot water bottle. If you want something fancier, don't buy this one.

- Low quality rubber - Not saying this would leak but it's made from basic rubber and has a strong rubber smell. It's not a high quality material like the Fashy hot water bottle I have which is from Germany

I am using this for both hot and cold applications and it is awesome!
I put cold water in, place it in the freezer and go work out. Come back about 2 hours later you have a nice chunk of ice that you can place on your back or other sore spot.
At night, put hot (not boiling) water in and place it under the covers at your feet to keep you warm.
Could not have asked for a better product. Works perfectly!

This bottle is better than the last couple I've had in that it's rubber and has a good stopper that doesn't leak. However it SMELLS BAD. I thought the horrible rubber smell would clear up but after 2 months it's still there. I didn't read the previous person's review about the smell, but I wish I had. That review was absolutely correct. This has a very very strong and horrible rubbery/latexy smell that made it unusable. I soaked it overnight in soapy water hoping that would "wash away" the stench but it didn't. They were unusable and I ended up giving them away. On the plus side, they did keep the heat in well.Customer Review: Sometimes bigger is better!

This is a really nice, large-sized water bottle.
I used it for the first time today, and really loved the larger sized bottle as I was able to get a lot of coverage on my body with it. This bottle works great on larger areas like the lower back, back of the neck, stomach, etc. Feels very durable and holds a decent amount of water. Oh, and of course you can't beat the price.
