I bought these earplugs because my collge roommate and my neighbor's those guys play the Super-bass music so irregularly all through the day. But it seems these earplugs just work a little: It blocks most sound of their talking (the wall of my room is so thin that I can hear what others' talking), but it cannot block the Super-bass' sound as well as the sound of shooting from some shooting game they play. So whether it works or not depends on the sound you want to block. By the way, you cannot use earplugs so often, beacuse that does harm to your ears, you may feel uncomfortable. Best wishes~
