My hair was somewhat damaged (very dry) due to well water and had that orange/rusty tinge to it. I purchased the Malibu well water kit and found that it did indeed bring moisture and manageability back into my hair. My hair is defintely not as dry as it was however it did not remove the orange/rust color from my hair. I used the 4 included gel packets over a 4 week period and had left them each time for over 1 hour in my hair. I rubbed it in very good in the highly orange areas but did not work well. I stopped using our well water from the beginning of this treatment and have been using jugged water ever since. I am not going to use well water ever again. I'm not sure if the Mailibu Well water kit is supposed to prevent orange/rust color and dryness while still using well water but I don't want to take that chance since I have recently gone to my hair dresser to color my hair and it is now back to normal..ashe blonde with some darker highlights.
