I typically have very thick hair so I need a good stylist who can thin out & texturize it to get maximum results. Along with having a good stylist, I tend to prefer TIGI or Toni & Guy Manipulator as the hair paste hardens my hair while keeping it flexible enough to style. The first time I tried Gatsby Hard & Keep was in Thailand where I bought some bottles for cheap. While Gatsby Hard & Keep gives me the same results as TIGI Manipulator, it comes at a 4th of the cost assuming one buys the 4 oz. bottle while the creme is not as dense as manipulator. I get excellent shine and holding power from Gatsby Hard & Keep, which is an even better alternative than TIGI Manipulator.
