When I first smelled Daisy in a magazine sample, I fell in love with it. I went out and bought it within the next week. It's a light non-offensive sweet smell. Sometimes I get compliments on it!
However, the problem is that this does not last long! I wish Marc Jacobs could come out with a eau de parfum version. As great as it smells, it's not worth the money because it doesn't last more than 2-3 hours. After that, it's basically only the smell of gardenia, which I didn't like.
My suggestion for the people at Marc Jacobs: make a fragrance that lasts longer and with less gardenia please!
For people who are planning to buy this fragrance, go out and sample it yourselves at a department store or something and see how it reacts with your body chemistry.

I have used the Marc Jacobs Perfume for years, and if you are familiar with that scent, it smells a little "mature". I wanted something recently that is slightly less familiar, but more playful. I don't like sugary-cotton-candy-juvinile scents. I want to smell like a woman, not a pre-teen. I LOVE the scent of this. My husband bought this for me from Sephora, and I was more impressed by the bottle, than the name "Daisy". I was totally hooked on the scent. It is feminine, whimsical, but still mature enough that I won't clash with my leather jacket and heavy black eyeliner. I love this scent, and my Marc Jacobs Perfume will be set aside for a few years till I get tired of this one (although, I don't think I will!)Customer Review: Mmmmmmmm

Smells really good. Light and fresh, like, well... a daisy would! Even tho daisies don't smell, this perfume smells fun and like spring. It's more of a daytime perfume, I think, but I am sure it would be lovely for evening wear too. The bottle is adorable. One of the things that made me want to purchase this perfume. I opened the box up and went, Awwwwwww, when I saw it. Has an adorable array of daisies on the top of the lid. I was reading a perfume forum, and there was a lot of hype about this one... I smelled a sample in the magazine and my first thought was : rubbing alcohol. It didn't smell very pleasant to me. The next day, I went to Dillard's to try on some perfume, and decided to try this one again, thinking the magazine sample may have been wrong. Alas, I still smelled rubbing alcohol, with only a slight hint of flowers.
The smell seems to fades fast too...but maybe it's just me

I love this scent. Very fresh. Just smells clean and fruity to me. Very PRETTY. I would have given it 5 stars, but the scent only seems to last for a couple hours. I have to carry a small sample I got from the department store in my purse, because this really has no lasting power. I hope they come out with an "Eau de Parfum" in the future. Other than that, I LOVE this scent. My husband loves it too.
