Customer Review: Simple, handy, cost-effective.

As a doctor, I chose this home BP device because it was easy for one person to use, kept a running record for both me and my DH, and took up little space in the bathroom cabinet. The large numbers are easy to read without my glasses.
My DH is not a technical person, and he can use this himself. He loves to play with this new toy. Now he doesn't have to bother me constantly. He's normal!
The price is right. Thanks, Amazon, for another winner.

This is a great machine - easy to use, accurate and I appreciate the pulse reading and memory features. I believe the inconsistencies mentioned in other reviews might be "operator error". I had one error message, but it was my fault. I hadn't released the air prior to beginning the reading. If it is too tight you will get bad readings - the directions say you should be able to put two fingers under the sleeve. Simple to use and accurate.Customer Review: Works less than 1/2 the time

This device worked about 80% of the time on myself and only about 10% of the time on my father. Unfortunately, it was a Christmas gift for him and not for me.
We ended up getting a self inflating one at Circuit City that seems to be working just fine.
It IS possible that the problem lies with him - possible faint heartbeat or high blood pressure but it is odd that the one at CC worked just fine.

The mark of fitness unit is easy to operate
with instructions that are simple and easily understood.
I prefer it over self inflating units because the battery
life is longer. The batteries are not required to operate the
inflation mechanism. The sound beep on the unit is very helpfull
in warning you that you have enough inflation on the arm cuff.

I bought it for my wife on September 2005. She uses it at least once a week. We use it with rechargeable batteries.
From time to time, we checked it against the best professional equipment and it is in a close range (+7- 2%). Very acurate. We use to recommend it to our friends.
