I've used one like this for years .... in that time I have been given three other mugs of glass, wood and metal.
This by far is the better shaving mug. All pro's and not one con. It keeps your lather warm unlike glass and metal - it's easy to hold - big enough to add hot water to before you wash your face so the lather is nice and warm to soften even the toughest beard - plenty of room to work that brush creating a thick creamy lather - holds that warmth - won't break - finger handle to make it more easy to hold and more comfortable in the hand - won't mar, chip or break other surfaces if dropped or knock off the lavatory - Ohh, did I mention it's not exactly the most attractive mug I've seen, but then again ... look in the mirror friend!
Ya can't go wrong, and it will last longer than you will, for a very nominal cost.
