Customer Reviews of Mavala Stop - Helps Cure Nail Biting and Thumb Sucking, 0.3-Fluid OunceCustomer Review: great for thumbsuckers! Summary: 5 Stars
I used this to help my 4 year old son stop sucking his thumb. I used it along with positive enforcement of the Berenstein bears book and letting him draw pictures on his fingernails with a nail art pen. The first night was no fun, we had to brush his teeth every time he tasted it but, after that he took about a week to gave it up. I would receommend this to anyone!
Customer Review: The best stuff for stopping thumb sucking ever. Summary: 5 Stars
This is the best worst tasting stuff you can get, put it on my 4yr old before she went to bed one evening, she put her thumb in her mouth once, and she hasn't done it again for over a month, she fussed about it a few times, but doesn't even talk about it now, haven't put any on for almost 2 weeks, still no thumb sucking, to bad for all the orthodontist out there.
Customer Review: IT WORKED!! Summary: 5 Stars
Great (yucky!) stuff! My daughter was a 3 year old thumb sucker who's habit was affecting her bite. Her pediatric dentist recommended this product and she stopped sucking her thumb all together in less than a month! I felt bad putting it on her thumb, especially after I tried it (it was terrible) but am glad now that the whole thumb sucking stage is behind us!
Customer Review: great product Summary: 5 Stars
I've been biting my nails for close to 20 yrs, and this product has allowed me to almost completely break the habit in about a week. Ive tried other products and nothing has worked this well. the only down point about Mavala is that as a guy, in the Army, Shiny nails are not greatly approved of! but it is a small price to pay to have un-bitten nails again.
Customer Review: Can not believe it!!!!! Summary: 5 Stars
I had thought I would have such a hard time getting my 2 1/2 yr. old to stop sucking her thumb. She actually started sucking her thumb more and more - bed time, watching TV, in the car...
After the 1st time I used this product I never again saw her do it. Every few days I would redo both thumbs and I never even saw her try.
I am very, very pleased.
