Finally I feel comfortable. It was driving me crazy that I sweat when cold, or that after shower applying antiperspirant I was still wet-weird. I gave a shot, and it works. After one application it sting a bit, but next day it was burning as hell, I had to wash it off with cold water and still feel pain all night and next day. I talked to Corad Healthcare rep and the lady said that I could overdo, wait till irritation is gone, and than when needed apply with fingertips. If irritation will still occur then company will replace regular Maxim for a sensitive one for free.
The active ingredient is aluminum chloride 15%, it`s 1 oz bottle. The consistency is water like, and when I started to roll it was leaking, so it`s better not to apply up side down, and only a little bit.
Aluminum chloride shrinks the sweat glands, it`s irritating and it shouldn`t be use on injured skin (wound, cut, after shave). After few days of using it`s enough to apply every few days (for me it worked after 1 time) always at night (it takes time to work), on clean and dry skin.
I think this product might as well work for feet and hands excessive sweating.
Additional comment: 3 days later with working out no sweat underarms, I sweat more on the other parts, like forehead, that`s normal. Also I found 12% aluminum chloride product in Target and Walgreens for $5 and that`s what I`m gonna get next time (it`s called Certain Dri, easy to find on Amazon too, but shipping costs will get you another bottle).

My story is similar to most of the people who have already commented, so I won't go into detail about the condition itself. That said, I was pretty much resigned to the fact that I'd just have to live with only wearing certain shirts, and ducking into bathrooms to check my underarms and absorb the moisture with hand towels...until I came across this product. I received it last Wednesday (it is Monday now) and have used it every night since. The first night there was some tingling and irritation, which I had expected, but it wasn't too bad. I've been experiencing some more irritation, and a slight redness around my armpit that is sensitive, so I think I will perhaps take tonight off, or just apply a very little amount if I use it. There is a chance that I've been using too much, so I might scale it back--I imagine a single swipe, distributed with fingertips would suffice.
The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because of the irritation it causes, and perhaps I will switch to the sensitive formula, but I'd like to give it another week or so. The results are truly impressive. Although it occasionally feels like I should be sweating, every time I check, I'm dry! I'm happy to deal with a little itching at night if it means that my days are not spent worrying about sweating. I'd recommend this product without a second thought and really couldn't be much happier. I know it sounds too good to be true, but this really delivers.

I have been using Maxim for about 3 years now but have never thought about leaving a review on Amazon, as I have always gotten the product directly from their website. If you are thinking about trying this product, please do! It know that it really has changed my life! The very first weekend after I started using this product, my husband and I went to an NFL football game. Even though we were sitting in an air-conditioned suite, the afternoon son was blazing in on our seating area. Normally sitting in the sweltering heat would cause me to be a drenched mess, but not this time. Seriously, not a drop of perspiration under my arms! I really couldn't believe that a product could work like that, but it did, and I have been using it ever since. The other reviewers are correct in that your underarm area will get itchy after applying it at bedtime, but I find it a small annoyance compared to the complete confidence I now feel with wearing ANY type of clothing I want! I used to have to be cognizant of the clothing I purchased because certain materials and/or colors would undoubtedly show sweat marks before the day was done (I think just worrying about sweating would make me sweat, even when in air conditioning...lol). A lot of products claim to be miracle products, but I can honestly say that this one really is! I bought this hoping it would be a replacement for my prescription antiperspirant b/c I was tired of going to get the Rx filled and/or having my local drugstore say they needed to order the solution to make it, etc. I've been using Maxim for 4 days as directed (only put it on at night before bed) and it simply doesn't work. I stepped outside a couple nights ago, must of been 80 degrees outside, and called a friend while I was outside. At first I didn't notice, but like 30 mins into the conversation I felt my pits were soggy wet! At that point I'd been using Maxim for 2 days but I was highly disappointed. To be fair I thought I'd give it a couple more days. Well it's day 4 and I just came inside from taking a leisurely walk WHILE DRINKING COLD WATER and my underarms still perspired. When I used Rx antiperspirant, it successfully stopped excessive underarm sweating at least 1/2 the time, but this Maxim stuff didn't work at all. I'll tell you what Maxim DID DO- irritated my underarms at night ("pins and needles", itchy sensation), then made them inflamed and feel raw and floor burned during the day. Granted, Rx antiperspirants can cause the same irritation, but you know what? At least they work! Can't say the same for Maxim. I'm pretty sure that if it hasn't reduced/stopped my sweating by now, it never will. I'm going to return it.Customer Review: This product is no joke!

I have struggled with underarm sweat since puberty like so many other people. I have tried many different types of anti-perspirant throughout the years and sometimes I could trick my underarms into submission, but that would only last maybe a day. I am now 27 years old and was ready to spend whatever amount of money to stop the underarm sweat, whether it be Botox or surgery. I stumbled onto Maxim one day, when I was ready to give up hope, and decided to give it a shot. I used it at night right before bed and awoke the next day with skepticism. After work around 5 pm, I held my arms up in the mirror and to my surprise there was absolutely no sweat. I could not believe it. I know so many of you reading this review probably will roll your eyes and I would have too, but it's been two weeks and I have not had to worry about any sweat since. This is the first time in my life where I truly feel free, like a burden has been lifted, and I can live my life with so much more confidence. I know you're skeptical but give it a shot, because its only $14 bucks and thats a drop in the bucket compared to the freedom of no more underarm sweating.
