As a home health R.N. I have used Medihoney paste and dressing with great success. They work well on infected open wounds, diabetic wounds and burns. I personally used it yesterday when I burned my hand on the oven. It was on the palm of hand. It started to hurt immediately. I know from experience it should have caused a 2nd degree burn (blistering, increased inflammation and much pain). Immediately after the burn I put cold water on it, applied a strip of Medihoney, then wrapped it with gauze. I kept it on for approx. 3 hrs. I had NO pain immediately after I applied it. When I took the dressing off there was no blister or redness. Great product.
