I purchased this for my 82-year old mother after a painful back injury. She can sit and then swing her legs over the tub, so it made getting into the tub much less painful. It is sturdy and easy to assemble. There is no way to keep water from splashing out of the tub when you use the shower spray, but this bench does as well as any. The price was very reasonable. Home health workers said this was the best version they have used.
Description of Medline Transfer Bench with Back and Push Buttons
The transfer bench is extremely durable and has suction-cup tips on two legs offer extra stability and safety. The anodized, aluminum frame adjusts in 1 inch increments for a seat height of 16.5 to 21 inches above the floor.
