I should have measured my tub more accurately. This transfer bench is obviously more suited to a Large tub. And it was difficult to assemble because one of the legs had been mashed a little. A friend says it's exactly like the one her senior citizen center uses, which gets a lot of use there. So... I never got to use mine, and had to order a different one. My husband broke his leg and sitting on the edge of the tub was extremely difficult because it was so low and narrow. This bench made bathing so much easier for him. He could get comfortable and take long hot showers whenever he wanted. It was easy to adjust to the sloping floor in the tub and felt sturdy during use. It has the same quality as the advertised, more expensive item listed at Walgreen's. Might be the same item, only marked up. I am extremly happy with this purchase as it proves itself over and over with every bath I give my disabled. Bless you for this item!

The medline transfer bench worked perfectly in my case. It was of modest cost and is sturdy. I had broken my hip joint and upper femur. While healing,to shower and keep weight off that leg, I needed the bench. I can now put weight on the leg and the incisions on my leg have healed so I can bathe or shower without the bench. This bench was purchased for my brother, who has a spinal tumor and has suffered several strokes. It came on time and in excellent condition and was very easy to assemble, a huge plus! Now, he is able to shower without any danger of falling. The bench is sturdy and has large suction feet for the bath side. You can't go wrong on this product.
