The basket is easy to put on the walker and also to remove. It is very stable. I bought it so I could go shopping with my walker and have a place to put things I bought. It worked out even better than I thought. I was able to put in a six pack of soda, and a few other items. I think it could hold two grocery bags side by side. The only real drawback is if you put anything heavier than the walker in the basket, you have to be careful not to tip the walker over. It was also great to take the basket off of the walker and put it in the trunk with all the groceries still in it.
