I bought this for my 89 year-old mother who wanted a basket added to her walker so she could carry her purse and other small belongings. She says it's perfect, and I agree. We went shopping, and she was able to carry her purse and a small bag of purchased items. It's easy to put on and take off, and the coated wire is good quality and doesn't slip. One thing to watch out for: if you put too much weight in the basket, the walker becomes top- and front-heavy, and it will fall over forward unless the user is holding onto it. I agree with another reviewer who suggested putting weights inside the back legs of the walker to counterbalance everything. I'm going to try this next using cylindrical weight inserts from a set of ankle weights.Customer Review: Held more than I was expecting

The basket is easy to put on the walker and also to remove. It is very stable. I bought it so I could go shopping with my walker and have a place to put things I bought. It worked out even better than I thought. I was able to put in a six pack of soda, and a few other items. I think it could hold two grocery bags side by side. The only real drawback is if you put anything heavier than the walker in the basket, you have to be careful not to tip the walker over. It was also great to take the basket off of the walker and put it in the trunk with all the groceries still in it.Customer Review: Happy Chef

THIS IS A REALLY STURDY BASKET AND IT FITS THE MEDLINE 2 BUTTON WALKER JUST PERFECT.
THE RATING OF 4* IS BECAUSE IT IS TOP HEAVY~~WE HAD TO ADD ADDITIONAL BACK WEIGHT TO IT...SO
...IF YOU TAKE THE BACK LEGS OFF BY TURNING IT UPSIDE DOWN AND PUT A SMALL LIGHT WEIGHT IN EACH LEG~~
NO PROBLEM AFTER THAT~~IT TOOK A WHILE TO FIGURE OUT AND IT WAS SO EASY TO DO!
NOW THERE IS NO PROBLEM OF TOPPLING OVER.
WE HOPE THAT THIS'LL HELP FELLOW HANDICAPPED PERSONS THAT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT, IT WORKED FOR US.

product description was incorrect. amazon indicated the basket came with a plastic tray. it does not according to Medline, the company that manufactures and distributes this product. they indicated that they have never made a tray for this basket and that I needed to take my problem up with amazon. don't want to return it, my wife really needs the basket for her walker. I broke my Femur bone in three places. Had a rod put in,and needed to use a walker for 7 weeks. The Medline Walker basket alowed me more freedom and independence. It transported all the iteams I needed to move from one place to another. Like food, laundry, books,yarn for crocheting. The basket was easy to install,carried a large amount of iteams,and was easy to unhook when I needed to.
