Customer Review: Back pain is gone!

I bought this pillow to relieve the back pain caused by my crummy chair at work. Since I have been using this pillow (about 3 months now) I am completely pain free! The formed shape to the back is nice and supportive, kind of wrapping around you snugly, fitting to the shape of your back both vertically and horizontally. I would recommend checking the return policy for this product if you're on the husky side, though. I'm a size 10, 30" waist and this pillow is almost exactly as wide as I am and it is just about as deep as I need it to be but based on other body types this pillow may not be the best choice since it is so countoured.
It's also not as soft as I expected it to be. My other memory foam products at home are nice and squishy but supportive. This one is more like regular foam. Due to this some people may think it's a bit too hard but if you like really supportive back pillows you may like this.
My critique of this pillow is to do with the elastic strap across the back which is virtually useless to me. Maybe if you have a smaller chair back than I do you won't have a problem but the stap is way too small to go around my chair. I had to improvise by using the elastic strap from another back pillow that I didn't like and strap it vertically so I'm constantly having to reposition the pillow to hit the right spot on my back.
Bottom line: This is a firm, supportive back pillow that I would recommend to others only after I was sure that it would fit their back properly. I would have given it three and a half stars for the unexpected firmless but I kind of like it now. =^) And amazon won't let me do half stars.
