I have used other colloidal silver products for several years (over 10), mainly for their ability to fight bacterial infections. Over time, through usage and online research I followed the various companies who made these products and their fight over what actually is the 'best' colloidal silver. I learned that there are actually two main 'warring' factions on the ingestible silver line of products-the largest group sells what is actually ionic silver (the one that looks and tastes like water) and is made out of silver ions...this is the silver that can possibly cause argyria. The other smaller group are companies like Mesosilver who make their silver products out of silver particles (the amber colored liquid that has no taste)-not silver ions.
The main difference between the two silver products that I detect for my own use is that the ionic silver works quicker than the particle silver but its effects doesn't last as long because the silver ions are destroyed (metabolyzed) by the time they reach your stomach. Silver particles (like Mesosilver) doesn't work as fast as ionic silver but because particle silver is smaller in size than silver ions they can 'survive' in your stomach longer and therefore can provide longer protection for your immune system. I have tried both formulas and find that I like the Mesosilver line better for my use, as I have a variety of allergies, asthma, high blood pressure (and diabetic to boot). This means I have plenty of opportunities for my body to become inflamed or infected when one condition or another flares up. Taking Mesosilver daily helps to keep me healthier-I haven't had a bad asthma attack in years, my allergies are under better control and my blood pressure & blood sugar numbers are stable.
In my opinion there is no one miracle drug, vitamin or herb that will help cure all of your problems-I try to take a 'balanced' approach...I take mesosilver along with a good multivitamin (and my meds) everyday because it's a triple agent (antibacterial, antifungal & antiviral). When you think about it, the price you pay for this product would probably equal what you would pay separately for OTC (over-the-counter) drugs that have the same properties, hmm! Plus with this particle silver you don't worry about getting a reaction (unless you are allergic to silver) or argyria even over longtime use-I've used mesosilver daily for over 2 years and have had no side effects to date.
