As the title suggests, baking soda is the main ingredient in this cleaner. Nothing to get excited about when you're paying more than say... .10 cents for a product (which probably is how much one would spend to make a fluid floor cleaner with sodium bicarbonate). So perhaps the fragrance is the only thing which makes it worth buying. Not to say it doesn't work, though!Customer Review: Great scent - average cleaner

Let me first start by saying that this product smells absolutely amazing! The cleaning power is okay...not bad...not excellent. I felt like the mop was doing most of the work to remove tough surface grime. That's okay though, because there was no residue or heavy chemical smell after we finished cleaning up our floor. This hardwood floor cleaner smells delicious and works very well. My son has many allergies and commercial soaps/cleaners often cause eczema flare ups. The Method brand does its job well and doesn't irritate my son's allergies at all. I have a floor steamer, but it has nothing on the shine that Method wood for good leaves on my floors! Plus it leaves my house smelling great. I just put a microfiber cloth on the end of my Swiffer then follow the simple instructions of squirt + mop.
