Customer Review: Too wide neck support for petite woman

This pillow would have worked great if I wasn't a petite size (5 ft. 2). I guess my neck just isn't as long for the firm neck support to fit comfortably as it not only fits under my neck, but also part of the base of my head, which defeats the purpose of having the neck support and your head being able to lay down into the cradle part.
I'm sure it'll work fantastic for someone with a longer neck... instead, my head was propped up too much, causing my chin to tuck down to my chest so I wasn't properly aligned like it's meant to be. I ended up waking up to a terrible headache turn migraine that lasted for 5 days straight :-/ Which is the whole reason I purchased this pillow in the first place, to help with my headaches by giving me more proper support at night. I had to go back to just sleeping with a neck roll under my neck and no pillow at all.

I have neck and shoulder problems in the mornings and thought that this would be the perfect thing to help that. It didn't really help. It is exactly as described, it just doesn't do it for me. My neck and shoulders still hurt in the mornings when I wake. I found that if I sleep with a travel pillow along with my flat, regular pillow, that will suffice. Not great, but my neck and shoulders don't hurt as much in the mornings. This pillow is a bit to hard on the sides for side sleeping, and can't quite get used to the part under my neck. It has been several weeks and still pain. Don't know if I would recommend it or not. Everyone is different, but it just didn't work for me. It is the same pillow that is sold in the chiropractic offices but for much cheaper, so a good option if you want to try it out.Customer Review: It works for me!!

I recently purchased this Tricor pillow in the hopes of relieving several weeks of neck and shoulder pain. It supports your neck but keeps your head flat and in line with your spine. Your head is not tipped up at a different angle than your spine. I was quite surprised that after my first night's sleep on it, I woke up with about 50% of the pain gone. After just a few days, I am back to normal. I can sleep on my side as well as on my back comfortably. It does seem a bit hard at first, but I have been used to soft pillows and the neck support is great. I did make my own pillowcase because a standard size pillowcase (at least mine) were a bit tight for the head indentation to fit loosely. If I would have kept the standard pillowcase, I still would recommend it.Customer Review: The jury is still out!

I bought this because I saw it at my Chiroprators office and it cost significantly more there. It is nice and firm and I am still getting use to it! I have always been a stomach sleeper for over 25 years and have been advised only to sleep on my sides and back by the Chiropractor. Therefore, for this pillow and my new sleeping positions, I still trying to decide if I like it. Now, if I was sleeping on my stomach, I would love this firm pillow. By the way, I'm also getting use to the carved out hole in the middle. I suppose it is there to maintain the natural curvature of the spine or something. I would prefer one solid pillow and the ability to sleep on my stomach!Customer Review: Finally, some relief!

I have serious neck problems and have not been able to wake up without a tight, aching neck in a long time. My Tempurpedic pillow didn't work for me (got too warm and lost support while I slept). The cervical neck roll was too big and too soft. This one is perfect and it comes in a smaller size for petite people. I'm 5' tall and it fits me perfectly. While I still feel discomfort in the part of my neck that is damaged, I don't feel the overall tightness I'm accustomed to, which is a huge improvement. I wake up feeling pretty good. I recommend this if the memory foam has not worked for you. Namaste.
