This eye pillow is wonderful. It provides long-lasting, moist heat that really soothes the eyes. I use it when I listen to my guided meditations for deeper relaxation and to block out light (which often distracts me). I also use it to help clear clogged tear ducts that cause chronic dry eyes, as recommended by my eye doctor.
I have one warning and one minor complaint. The warning: be careful not to over heat this pillow in the microwave. It can get VERY HOT and stay that way for several minutes. 40 seconds works well in my microwave, but all microwaves differ. Just test it on your arm before you put in on the delicate skin around your eyes. The complaint: I really think this product should come with an equally soft but removable and washable cover. It has no cover and cannot be washed. I sew, so I made a cover out of flannel. But for the less crafty, this eye pillow could get dirty quickly and I'm not sure how to clean it.
All in all, it's a great pillow and I use it several times a week.
