My hairdresser turned me on to this amazing oil which does NOT feel oily on your hair. Because you put it on when hair is still wet, it blends into the hair as you blow dry and keeps it in place. No more gels or mousse for me. No more hair conditioners (either wash out or leave in) as the oil makes my hair glisten wonderfully in natural light. No more hairspray because Moroccanoil holds my hair in place however I style it with the blow dryer. Also, with a good haircut you don't even have to blow dry. Just rub the oil into the hair, comb and go.
Easy does it - you bet - this product is half price on amazon.com compared to buying it in the salon AND it lasts and lasts. My last bottle (3.4 oz) was used from the end of November, 2008 until the first week in October, 2009 because it only takes a small amount in the palm of your hand to completely coat your hair. I use it every time I wash my hair which is every two to three days. No special treatment regimen but the product is OH SO SPECIAL!! Highly recommended by me as an alternative to pouring chemicals on your scalp :-)

This item is counterfeit. The first time I purchase Moroccanoil was from a salon. It smelled amazing but not too overpowering it also did wonders for my hair! When I received my Moroccanoil from Amazon something was definitely wrong. The bottle was leaking when I opened the package. The smell oh it was horrid (a mix of babyoil, ban de soleil, and chemicals), so overpowering that I thought I was going to vomit. I knew something was off and didn't even think twice about putting that stuff into my hair. Since I already had an almost empty bottle that I bought from a legit salon I started to compare labels. The Moroccanoil purchased from Amazon was totally off the M on the front had an outline which the real bottle does not. On the back the most obvious is the fact that the counterfeit Moroccanoil doesn't have the Registered Trademark and Patent on it. Do not purchase this product, the Moroccanoil website has a salon locator that shows you nearest salons with their product. I have oily and thin baby fine hair that I have to wash and blowdry every day. It also has some out of control wave/curl action and frizz that get magnified when it's humid so it gets straight ironed regularly and I dye it every 4-6 weeks. Obviously, this is all a recipe for damaged and dried out hair. I had heard about Moraccainoil but hadn't tried it. Then I saw a coupon promotion in a beauty magazine and sent away for it. From the first moment I felt it in my hands and smoothed it into my hair I knew it was different from anything else I had tried, my hair feld light weight and bouncy even though it was still wet. It's also way lighter than any of the other frizz serums which tend to flatten and make my hair look oily if I use to much. Moraccainoil also doesn't leave a slippery residue on my hands, it speeds the drying time, smooths out frizz, and my hair is also in much better condition since I started using it almost 2 months ago. It is quite simply the best condition/anti-frizz/blowdry product I have ever used.Customer Review: I think it is great.

Well I wish I had known I could get it on Amazon for so much less.
It took me 4 months to purchase after it was recommended because all the products together were well over 100. I am in NY and it is sold at a salon.
I have unnaturally thin hair. Years of bleaching, color, stress, poor diet and daily pharmacuetical medications have taken their toll.
Most products are too heavy. I also can't usually just let my hair dry by itself and expect it to look full and healthy.
Not so with this. A dime sized amount rubbed in my hands - I flip my head upside down and apply to ends first alternating "tapping" my palms on the ends and squeezing the ends in my fists.
I flip my hair back and use another dime sized amount - first to the ends again and evenly through the rest of the hair with the remainder.
It dries by itself and although I see 10% frizz, the hair looks so thick and healthy I don't care.
It is worth it to try it. I like the smell too.

My hair dresser shared this product with me the last time I was in and I could not believe the results. She used it and then gave me a sample to try. All I can say is "AMAZING!" I have fought with my hair for 25 + years and always dreamed of having smooth shiny hair like everyone else. But I always had coarse, unruly, frizzy hair. A good flat iron helped a good bit, but still it would eventualy frizz, even with humidity protectants and sprays. This stuff is so simple, but works perfectly. No fuzz or frizz, not greasy at all. All you need is a few drops, so it will last a long time. Hair dries super fast. It's super slippery & shiny with no residue. And you can use your usual styling products with it if you like. I can not believe the results. I highly recommend this and the Hair Mask that goes with it to use in the shower. I would like to try the Intense Curl Creme because there are time when I like a little curl, but under control.
