Got this scale to replace one i've had for some time that was not very dependable. the appearance of this scale is very nice. Personally, i move my scale after every time i use it, so in order to get an accurate reading, i have to step on it to turn it on and adjust itself to 0. Then i can get on for my accurate weight. it's not inconvenient. It's just necessary to get a good reading. I like the backlighting and that it's glass. It's very nice.
Also, this scale does not give you different readings, as long as you let it set back to zero before weighing yourself.

We really like this scale. One of the factors that we wanted is a back lit LCD display. Not only is it well back lit but the numbers are easy for me to read even without my glasses. I agree with the other reviews I've read on the scale's functionality, accuracy, etc. Our only complaint is that our previous scales would work in our carpeted bathroom. The old scale had a hard clear plastic board between the scale and the carpet. The new scale would not function with even the minor softness of the set up. We've now moved it to a tile floor and it works fine.Customer Review: Disappointed

Was really excited about this scale to kick off my weight loss. I should have taken heed to the warnings by other reviewers on the accuracy of it.when I first get on in the morning it will say im 166 I have to keep getting off and on about 6 times until it wil read my actual weight which is 163. It does this everyday and I know that I haven't gained ant weight. Its ok for now just because I already know how to" work" it but its annoying to say the least. Buyer beware take heed. I purchased this scale in February and have not been able to use it. It was not calibrated correctly out of the box (which I expected) but the printed instructions are unclear. I've called the company 4 times, no one picks up and you have to leave a voicemail. No one returned my calls. Scale isn't working properly and they have no customer service. Money wasted. Because I tried to work within their system of "customer service" I am past the 30 returns policy time and am stuck with a non-working scale.Customer Review: Simple, sturdy, effective

I bought this scale to carry out a promise I made to myself last fall to weigh and record the weight every day. My ancient beam balance scale required fiddling with the weight and guessing which quarter pound mark it fell closer to. This scale is thin and attractive. There is no perceived movement when standing on it. It quickly settles on a specific number. Unlike some digital scales, which are rigged to show the same weight for a repeat weighing, it passes the 'drink a cup of water and reweigh' test.
