Customer Review: Great Sunless Tan!

I love other Mychelle products and thought I would give this a try. Here are my thoughts:
Pro:
- no clogged pores! I have very fickle skin and even the slightest heavy product can result in breakouts. Despite the fact that this is not oil-free I didn't have any problems.
- Nice subtle coconut smell. When you put it on, it has a very subtle smell (I would guess coconut) that goes away after awhile. Of course, because Mychelle uses the same chemical to bind the color to the skin's collagen as any other sunless tan product, there is a lingering smell (if you've ever used sunless tan before you know what I mean) - but it's not as strong as other lotions I've tried.
- No streaks. This lotion is great for not having streaks everywhere. One reason for this is that it doesn't go on as dark as other sunless tans I've tried, but this fact allows you to layer it on for an even look.
- No "guidance" color. My old sunless tan facial lotion favorite (Clinique) was brown colored to show you where you put the tan lotion before it develops. I found this kind of annoying especially when the brown color gets everywhere. This lotion is a pale yellow and doesn't leave brown color everywhere.
- Besides the tanning chemical, there aren't any other chemicals that irritate your skin.
Con:
- the price is a bit high considering that it doesn't go on very dark, but considering the benefits to your skin and the lack of streaks, I still think it's a good deal.
- no sunscreen. Some may not see this as a con, but because the lotion isn't very dark I like to put it on a few times a week in the summer. Not having to put on sunscreen as well would be great.
Overall, a great product! Generally inoffensive smell, no streaks, good for your skin.
