If we don't have Mylicon in a bottle all hell will break loose (no kidding)! We tried Gripe Water but the scent was really strong and LO would choke on it-- adding also that it only keep within so many weeks, has to be refrigerated, and also dispensed in the mouth.
We started off using Mylicon in the mouth but once we changed formulas to a more foamy kind I started dropping this in the formula. I used to scoop the foam but this will actually "kill" the foam and it disappears. I prefer the dye kind rather than dye-free though. Dye-free is incredibly hard to see and measure. Also great for travel since you can just pop it in the diaper bag and don't have to worry about refrigerating it.
It's always best to stock up on this stuff. We go through these bottles almost weekly!
