Since your weight can be misleading a body tape is the perfect way to tell if you are really in shape. It is is also handy monitoring your progress as your muscles get bigger. The Myotape is really easy to use, wrap it around the body part to be measured, slide the end into place and push the button. The numbers are easy to read. Its a little smaller than I thought it would be, but its easy to handle and, since it is kind of small, you can take it with you to the gym easily.Customer Review: Works well enough

This product works well enough for the price. There is only one thing that I wish they would fix: sometimes the little plastic end piece comes out of the groove when you are trying to make a loop to measure something (like your arm/waist/etc...) and it comes recoiling in really fast and can really hurt if it hits your fingers. Just a simple cover or something would solve this problem. Hopefully they can address this issue in the future. Other than that it works pretty good.Customer Review: Awesome buy for the price

I love this little gadget. In case you don't already know how it works, you pull the roll of measuring tape from one side, wrap it around your body part to be measured, and then slide the end of the tape into the notch on the other side and it holds it in place. Then you can press the little white button on the front to retract/contract the tape and it fills in the slack. Not at all tight, in fact on the loose side when it contracts. Does its job great, love it.

This tape measure performs as advertised. The approx. 2" missing from the start of the tape is to compensate for the distance between where the tape comes out of its case to where you slide in the peg to "snug up" the tape using the button on the front.
EXCELLENT! Where before I'd have to measure several times with my sewing tape to ensure I was recording the correct info, I now have the confidence to measure once. Without help. Love it!

Over the months I've been losing weight, I've used a regular 'sewing' type tape measure and had trouble getting it together and getting a fairly accurate measurement. It was kind of comical at times.
So I got this and it's a really big help, sort of an extra hand, and seems to adjust the same each time. So I'm happy.
It was also cool that my super geek-y husband, who is precise in almost everything, really likes it too!
