I was given two of the strengthening complex, gentle cleanser, physical scrub, intense recovery complex and the hand cream as sort of a thank you gift. I am in my late 20's and have always taken care of my skin, so not many complaints to begin with. In the past couple of years I have started to get acne which I rarely had in my teens. I have used some name brand department store facial cleansing products and have found this to be easier, more effective in leveling my oil production and less confusing. Those products seemed to work great as a teenager but my skin is changing. I also like that there are no steps or this before that, after the other thing. I have been using this brand for 6 months. However, I have three sun spots which this has not helped lighten (part of its claim) and recently went to the doctor for. It has not cleared my acne, its not designed specifically for that. Over all my skin has seemed to "level" off and is less of a roller coaster in the oil or dry phases like before. I do have some wrinkles around my eyes but have not noticed an improvement like in other reviews. I would say the biggest perk is how well it moisturizes as I live in the desert with little to no humidity. Their website says it takes off make up, but I don't feel that it removes all traces and must use a make up remover as part of my routine most days. It does make my skin feel smooth and I guess not dry, but not dewy, which I like. I'm not sold that is it worth the price tag for me and am researching other non comedogenic gentle cleansers and moisturizers. I have used only 1 container of the SS complex and just opened my second one tonight. So it does last a good amount of time if you have the money to spend on it. I have also NOT finished my first container of gentle cleanser or physical scrub. I don't use the intense recovery cream as it seemed too heavy and broke me out way past the "adjustment period" mentioned on their site. And I don't use the hand cream all to often. I love the smell of these products and they do seem to be gentle but effective. Please read their website, as it does state it will cause an initial break out due to the extra production of sebum (oil) so really give it a shot before you put it down. I'm just on the fence about it due to the price and lack of clearing up my acne.
