I am a long time hyperpigmentation sufferer - I've done it all - hydroquinone, tri-luma, l.e.d, grape seed extract and on and on. While the heavy duty triluma and hydroquinone worked in the past, I didn't want to go that route again, given all the negative mercury-based reviews I'd read of late. I was just about to whip out the credit card and do IPL, when I decided to try NIA24 as a last resort.
IT WORKS. I've been using it for approx. 6 weeks and I've noticed a DEFINITE fading, esp. on my chest. While it doesn't seem to fade the smaller "age spots"/big freckles as quickly, it does fade overall hyperpigment masks beyond belief. I'm a CYNIC, but have been pleasantly surprised. Call me a satisfied customer!

The NIA 24 Sun Damage Repair for Hands is advertised as containing a "100 %"physical sunscreen with the mineral protection of micronized titanium dioxide and micronized zinc oxide". Imagine my supreme disappointment when I received the vaunted (and expensive) hand cream and eagerly searched to discover exactly how high the SPF is. Well, it's zero because there's no sunscreen mentioned at all. Why spend to lighten your spots and then have the sun recreate them?? There are wonderful hand creams with 20 SPF out there. I have used the complete line of NIA 24 for about 3 months now, on the recommendation of my dermatologist. My brown spots are fading from my face, decolletage and my arms and hands! My skin looks and feels firmer and more radiant. I have had peels before, midrodermabrasion and some IPL, but this product is cheaper and works better. I had high hopes for this product, but was sadly disappointed. I've been using it for several weeks and all I've gotten is an itchy rash and breakouts on my chest. Maybe it's because I have very sensitive skin. For me, this product was a waste of money.
