Customer Reviews of NOW Foods, LAVILIN UNDERARM DEODORANT CREAM - 12.5 gm (10cc)

Customer Review: Gotta tell ya... This stuff rocks.
Summary: 5 Stars

With respect to some reviews which claim this stuff is worthless, I obviously can't speak to that. Maybe, for them, it is. Perhaps it depends on what you do/eat/are, or just how your hormones are stackin'-up. I will say that, for me, this stuff is UNBELIEVABLE and by that I mean "Does What it Says" (which is more than I can say for most people/products I'm familiar with). I don't get a week, but darn if, for 4-5 days, even with heavy exercise, I don't smell like a rose. Seriously. Totally works. Expensive, and will probably be discovered to cause brain damage, but the other stuff is already suspected of that, so I'll stick with this. I don't evangelize much, because few things warrant it. But this stuff totally works, at least for me.

Customer Review: Please bring back the old "black" Lavalin
Summary: 1 Stars

I started using Lavalin in the late 1980's. It was fantastic. I never wanted to be without it so I'd buy it by the case. It would normally last 3 to 4 weeks, never less. Last year when my latest supply was depleted I could only find the new "white" Lavalin. What a big disappointment. If I got a week it was exceptional. Normally it would wear off in 3 to 4 days. For those users who think the current Lavalin is 5 star, you should have seen the original - you'd have done backflips. Like some of the other reviewers I am looking for a replacement product. I'd compare what they've done to Lavalin to what you'd experience if Starbuck's started using only one coffee bean per cup! It stinks...come to think of it, so do I now!

Customer Review: Coach Recommended, Mother Approved
Summary: 5 Stars

It works on stinky teenage boys and smells-like-a-horse men!

I coach Football and Lacrosse. Every now and then I run into a player who smells so bad, I can't take riding on a bus with. I want my guys to work hard and they do, but they don't need to smell like hot garbage.

So, I kindly let them know they need to upgrade to Lavilin.

They all threaten about this stuffs too high, but... Their mom's say thanks later, even though it's like 4xtimes more expensive. They know they've tried all the regular stuff before. Everything on the shelves they tell me, and nothing worked until Lavilin.

Stop being cheap for once and live a better life. If you looked up deoderant online you gotta stink, so just buy the stuff.

Customer Review: Converted Skeptic
Summary: 5 Stars

When I first heard that Lavilin was a deodorant that lasts for days, I thought "yeah, right...". Still, I bought it as a trial despite the higher price. Frankly, it's amazing. I've used a plethora of natural deodorants, many of which claimed to be long-lasting, some of them for $20+ a bottle, and most of them couldn't make it through the day. With Lavilin, in the middle of the hottest summer in decades, I went 4-5 days between applications and did just fine.

I will recommend that you may want to shave before using this, since that seemed to help elongate the effects. However, my husband used it as well after my rave reviews and reports that it works great for him in his natural, manly, hair-abundant state.

Customer Review: Been using for over 5 years, can't imagine life without it
Summary: 5 Stars

I'm not typically prone to exuberance or writing online reviews, but I have been using Lavilin underarm deodorant with great success for over five years. An application usually lasts me about a week with no smell. This is the only natural deodorant that works for me (I tried about twenty before I found Lavilin). I really like that I don't have to apply it every day, it's a much more civilized process. It's one of those things that feels like a little secret that you wish the rest of the world knew about. This little bottle lasts a long time, so I don't think you're losing money versus a stick deodorant. Lasts several months, not sure, probably about six months.
