I was first introduced to Nail Tek intensive therapy several years ago when I had a manicure done at a professional salon. I was very impressed because it really does work to strengthen natural nails. I now do my own nails at home, and I won't use any other product. My nails tend to be thin with lots of peeling at the tips and cracks along the sides, so I use formula II with great success. A major bonus about Nail Tek products are that they dry super fast - by the time I'm done painting my last nail, the first few are dry and ready to paint. That's really beneficial when you have a busy lifestyle and sometimes just don't have time to sit and wait for your nails to dry! I've used the intensive therapy product as a foundation, as a top coat, and all by itself when I want no color polish at all and it works great in all circumstances. The consistency of the formula makes it very easy to use. This product does not 'yellow' as other products do as they age on your fingernails. If you're looking for seriously hard and beautiful natural nails, this is your winner. There are detailed directions on how to achieve that right on the box.
With this purchase, I also got the ridge filler which I was also impressed with. Over the last few years, I have developed ridges in two of my nails which were visible even with color polish, and this has done a remarkable job of fixing them. It also dries fast and helps to make my manicures last longer. I used to buy these products from another online source which charged much more, but I found these to be considerably cheaper and of equal quality. That leaves a little more $ for maybe an extra bottle of color or two. Enjoy!
