Customer Reviews of Nasaline - Nasaline Adult-Nasal Rinser Ki, 1 boxesCustomer Review: Amazing Health Maintenance Summary: 5 Stars
I have suffered with respiratory and sinus infections and asthma most of my life. I routinely experience allergy induced sinus headaches and a frequent cough from post-nasal drip. Years ago I was told that salt water in the nostrils would be beneficial, and although I tried and found that it did help, it was just too messy and unpleasant to do often enough.
My daughter recently bought a Neti pot on advice of her doctor. I researched the options for saline nasal irrigation and ordered two Nasalines, one for myself and one for my daughter. She immediately abandoned her Neti pot in favor of the Nasaline.
This is such an amazing device that I am urging everyone I love to get one. It is so simple and neat to use, and the results are nothing short of miraculous. I am breathing freely without the drying effects of medication; the congestion which began in my sinuses has disappeared, rather than settling in my throat and chest.
Those with younger children might want to check out the Nasaline Junior.
Customer Review: Instant sinus allergy relief Summary: 5 Stars
My nose becomes itchy and runny every spring from tree pollen. It's so debilitating that I need to limit my exposure to the outdoors. I've tried several antihistamines without any noticeable improvement.
Nasal irrigation provides instant relief of my symptoms. Nasal irrigation seems to be most effective if I've been outside for a while and then do it as soon as I go indoors for an extended period. Sometimes I need to do it several times a day. I've tried the Netti Pot type of nasal irrigation but I find it awkward to tilt my head way back and try to pour the water into my nose as it runs down my face.
The Nasaline product lets me wash out my sinuses while I'm bent forward over a sink. It's much more convenient, ergonomic and thorough. The included salt packets dissolved in water work well, but I prefer to use a product called Alkalol instead.
Nasal irrigation with Nasaline makes being outdoors during the spring months much more bearable and I'll probably be using it for the rest of my life.
Customer Review: Wonderful Product Summary: 5 Stars
My husband had sinus surgery a few months ago. His doctor had us buy a waterpik to irrigate his sinuses. My husband travels a lot for work. Lugging a huge waterpik around the world in his suitcase was not an option. The "portable" waterpik-like devices had much too strong a flow to use for the sinues. I bought this product so that my husband could irrigate while on the road. After a two-week trip abroad, my husband ditched the waterpik and uses only this device.
The tip creates a seal around the edge of the nose, so water does not escape...it just pushes through the sinus cavity. The whole process is much less messy and noisy than using a waterpik or similar device.
My husband took his Nasaline with him on a followup appointment with his doctor. His doctor was so enthused with this ingenious device that he is encouraging his patients to consider this in lieu of using the waterpik.
I also purchased one for my personal use during "sinus weather". No sinus infections for me!
Customer Review: If you have sinus trouble, you need to try this Summary: 5 Stars
I've tried many different sinus irrigation devices, going all the way back to using a baby squeeze bulb with a mixture of table salt and baking soda. This is, so far, the best one I've found. Similar to the squeeze bottle system from NeilMed (which, until I found this, was the best one I'd found), this instead uses a syringe for delivery and that really makes a difference. Used according to directions, you will get two applications per nostril per usage. The steady flow and increased pressure really helps to blow out whatever unpleasantness has accumulated. I literally was not sleeping more than about three hours at a clip in the weeks leading up to trying this product; since I've started using it, if I wake up, it isn't due to congestion, it's usually my cat! The price is great, too, about $5 cheaper than the NeilMed system with 100 packs of saline. I have also just ordered one for my father who has worse sinus trouble than I do; he can't wait to try it. Give it a shot, you won't be sorry.
Customer Review: If you have sinus/allergy problems, try this!!!! It really works! Summary: 5 Stars
For years Doctors told me to use saline sprays for my allergy and sinus problems. And for years, I tried product after product, time and time again, and none of them did much of anything. The water-pot types were uncomfortable and unpleasant and the mists didn't do much of anything. Well, the Doctors were right about the saline but the products I was buying at the drug and health food stores were wrong.
I found Nasaline at a local Allergy Specialty store about 9 months ago and I use it once or twice a day. It only takes about 2 minutes and it's really easy. Since using Nasaline, my allergy problems are greatly reduced and I'm not having recurring sinus infections anymore.
If you have allergy or sinus infection problems, try this product. It's fast, it's easy and it really works!
Update 3/2008: Nasaline works! I'm still using it and I can still breathe. If you have sinus problems, try this!
