I originally discovered 5-HTP for appetite control. If you take it at the right time you'll feel yourself getting full a lot faster.

Recently I ran out of Zoloft and because of the way Nevada set up the clinic system, I wouldn't be able to get a doctors appointment for another 3 months. Fortunately, my roommate found a patient advocate who got me an appointment only 2 weeks away.

But in the meantime I started taking 50mg in the morning in the hopes that it could tide me over. I'd been having horrible physical anxiety attacks (at first I thought my heart was going bad!) even while on the Zoloft. Now that I have none, but rather am taking 5-HTP my anxiety as all but disappeared.

I have tried a couple other brands and I must say Natrol just works better.
