this is THE BEST deal on colloidal silver out there. 90% of colloidal silvers are only 10ppm (parts per million) and a complete rip off. you are paying $10-$30 for a 2 ounce bottle of water!
the natural path brand is about the same price as many 10ppm bottles, but 50 times stronger!
i first purchased colloidal silver many years ago as an anti-bacterial remedy for my aquarium. i had heard about the success of colloidal silver from a friend but was upset when my fish died even after using the remedy. then i did a little research and found that i was using was worthless 10ppm silver.
a few years later my rabbit had an ear infection and i read on the internet that colloidal silver might cure it. i went looking for colloidal silver at GNC but they only had 10ppm (the same bottle i had bought years before.) so i headed on down to the local health food store and luckily i found 500ppm silver. i bought a 2 ounce bottle of natural path that cured my rabbit's ear infection and lasted a long time for many other purposes.
my 2 ounce bottle from the health food store was $18 and this 4 ounce bottle on amazon is $21-what a great deal!
this bottle has a conveient glass dropper attached to the top (so you use less than the pour bottle kinds.) the liquid is a dark brown with a distinct silver taste.
i believe the serving size for daily intake is 1/4 teaspoon-which means this bottle was last a long time. i do not take this product daily but i find that it helps with the occasional bout of bad breath. i also put it on cuts or anywhere that needs anti-bacterial protection. it is also helpful if applied topically for urinary and vaginal yeast infections (sorry-that may be too much info but i think other women will understand-it's far better than messy smelly creams.)
this stuff is also great for use on pets. it's safe, as i've never heard any evidence to the contrary. as i stated earlier, it is a great anti-bacterial medicine for fish tanks. (chemical 'medicines' really just poison your fish.) it can even be used constantly in small amounts with every water change for preventitive treatment.
i have several pet birds that like to pollute their drinking water with feces and food. a drop of silver quells any fear i might have that they will get an infection before i change the water again.
i also put a small amount in my dog's drinking water every now and then for his doggie breath.
bottom line-you will not find a better buy on quality 500ppm colloidal silver or even a product that has so many uses.

I don't often post negative reviews (and I doubt it will get many "helpful" ratings) but if this review encourages anyone who uses silver to do a little more research, it's worth it.
Please take just a second to do a web search for ARGYRIA before taking any product containing silver. Taking silver causes permanent gray skin coloration (argyria) in many people. It is irreversible. Some studies suggest it is also a neurological toxin. Furthermore, no legitimate published study has ever proven silver to be therapeutic for any condition.

Do not rely on testimonials or "studies" provided by those who are asking for your money. Based on the totality of evidence, any oral silver product on the market must be sold by people who are either unscrupulous or uneducated.
Make a quick phone call to your own doctor before taking silver or any other oral supplement.

I was VERY skeptical about using this product 10 years ago....when I had continual infections/surgeries/more infections from condtinually taking perscription antibiotics. Because of the good flora continually being eleminated from my gut by the ongoing antibiotics, Candidia became systemic and my health was in a downward spiral. Within 48 hours of finishing a bottle of antibiotics, I was beginning signs and symptoms of another infection! My husband encouraged me to try CS instead. I finally agreed, and after taking it for 24 hours...I had to admit, I had made as much progress as I did with an antibiotic....so, I continued taking it for 10 days like a typical perscription. Amazing! That was the first time I had ever gotten though an infection without having to go to the doctor. So, I started using when needed. CS does not destroy the good flora in your gut, and is an anti-viral, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal....so it helped allow my gut flora to balance, and helped mow down the Candida as well. I don't think you can complain about that! My candida is now under control and seldom if ever have infection to deal with (have had no surgery since either)....thanks to CS!
Over the years, we have used CS sucessfully for pink-eye (as an eye wash/diluted), bladder or kidney infections, certain cold and flu symptoms, onset of stomach flu, and even shingles. CS can be used topically or orally...or both! We have also used it for animals with great success.
It comes down to this: using a good product (like Silver Wings); and, using wisdom as you would with any medication. Yes, a side-effect to CS can be Argyria, but only if used incorrectly. You have to respect its limitations, just like you would with any medication that you choose to use. If you took Amoxicillin (or any other short-term medication) for months at a time, I'm sure you would have results to deal with. I'm not sure why people are so fearful and opposed to this product, when we should be concerned about the toxic perscription medications which can have much greater risks and serious side-effects.
I would encourage you to try this product....because it has tremendous possibilities! Just use it wisely.

Our 11 year old yellow lab had been suffering for over 6 months with SEVERE "chin acne" to the point of bleeding. He was miserable! Our vet sent-off a culture confirming staph and what antibiotics would "work". There were only two. One was $10 per pill three times a day for several months. The other was three pills three times a day. He is a very sensitive dog and the antibiotic upset his stomach so we stopped after the second dosage of three pills. Did a lot of reading online and discovered colloidal silver and that it kills staph very quickly. We began treating his chin three times a day by cleansing it with antibiotic soap, blot it dry and then apply colloidal silver directly onto the lesions. Once they were dry, we took the prescribed antibiotics and opened the capsules and mixed the powder with pure water to make a paste and applied this to the lesions. Within a week the the lesions began drying up. We are at a point that I cleanse his chin 1-3 times a week and apply the colloidal silver. We give him approx. 10 drops every day orally. I had pneumonia, got it when traveling to South America for my job, got home was deathly ill, and got the best allopathic treatment available over a period of months, and got somewhat better. If you have ever had pneumonia, you know with all conventional treatment it lingers on and for me, every flu season my pneumonia symptoms would return, and the ordinary flu was a serious threat to me.
