Customer Review: Long term use of a number of the ingredients deemed UNSAFE by consumer reports

2 star review for the following reasons:
1) I felt virtually no difference in energy levels after using this product. I did feel a difference by switching to a different vitamin brand for fatigue.
2) These products by Alive throw in "the kitchen sink" for ingredients in their multi-vitamins. Multiple such ingredients are deemed unsafe for long-term use by consumer reports.
ALFALFA
"Alfalfa leaves are POSSIBLY SAFE for most adults. But taking alfalfa seeds long-term is LIKELY UNSAFE. Alfalfa seed products may cause reactions that are similar to the autoimmune disease called lupus erythematosus.
Alfalfa might also cause some people's skin to become extra sensitive to the sun. Wear sunblock outside, especially if you are light-skinned." -consumer reports 2010. Consumer reports are unbiased and proven by science + research.
It seems that some of the ingredients in these multi-v's should not be taken for more than 2 months without a rest period--yet the manufacturer makes no mention of this!
I think that the safest way to go about taking vitamins is to "cycle" the proven/trusted brands, like "Kirkland Signature Daily Multi (Costco) and CVS pharamacy" multivitamin. With the questionable safety of the smaller brands.

AGARICUS MUSHROOM (Himematsutake)
