Customer Review: disappointed and rude customer service

I just received my light box. I had been anxiously waiting for it since it had gotten such great reviews. I unpacked it and it does not have an US style power plug. I called Philips Respironics and after waiting for quite a while the representative curtly said that that was a discontinued product and they could do nothing about it. I guess I will have to return it to amazon. What a disappointment.Customer Review: Let the sunshine in !

After suffering from seasonal affective disorder for many years I purchased this natural light source on the advice of my doctor. I use it every morning for half an hour. What a huge difference in my mood! I feel more alert, happier, more optimistic. I absolutely love it and recommend it for anyone with SAD.

The lamp has enabled me to get through the early darkness of winter with little to no depression. I am on antidepressants, but those alone were not sufficient. It appears that people who are born & raised in the sun need it even when it is not available. I would & have recommended this product to others. I received my Apollo Sun Touch Light and Ion Therapy unit about a month ago and have been using it every morning. It seems to be a high quality product. I have had no problems of any kind with it. The bright light therapy does seem to be helping with my sleep cycle and my mood. I am very satisfied with this product.
