I initially bought this product thinking it would remedy the occasional itchy scalp that would drive me nuts some mornings. I mean, a shampoo this expensive that had really good reviews by people claiming it remedied a similar problem as mine had to work, right? Well, I was wrong. Really wrong.. I've used this need shampoo on 5 occasions - each at night - and the next morning, I'd say 4 out of the 5 mornings after use, the itchiness was incredible. I'm quite certain I used it right, leaving it in my hair for 3-5 minutes after working it into the scalp and lathering it up, but it seems to be failing to remedy the itchiness, miserably. Actually, I used this shampoo last night, and the itchiness was so bad it actually caused me to wake up. Once I awoke fully, I had to take a shower with my other shampoo in order to get relief. Then, while getting dressed, I noticed my pillow was full of good-sized flakes from my scalp, something I've never noticed with the regular shampoo. Now I feel like a schmuck for buying $15 a bottle shampoo that doesn't work at all. Lesson learned, I guess.
