Customer Reviews of NeilMed's Sinus Rinse Pre-Mixed Packets, 100-Count Boxes (Pack of 2)

Customer Review: Soothing Relief
Summary: 5 Stars

Neil Med is a buffered saline solution intended to thin mucus secretions so they can be expelled. Buffering eliminates the stinging sensation associated with regular salt water.

I've used it for many years with good results. I even use it when I get a rare head cold as it seems to reduce the chances of acute sinusitis after the cold is gone. In this case, a gentle application is best in order to avoid forcing the solution into a swollen sinus. This could exasperate the problem.

Customer Review: Highest recommendation
Summary: 5 Stars

I have found the Sinus Rinse bottle and the packets to be extremely effective in clearing my sinuses and helping to minimize the effects of an impending cold. The process of irrigating your sinuses has the potential to be life altering. I know that sounds over the top, but it ranks up there with exercise as the healthiest thing you can do for yourself. At least if you have sinus problems like I do.

Customer Review: Best product used for sinuses.
Summary: 5 Stars

I started having sinus infections 10 years ago with sinus infections at least 4 times a year. Took everything over the counter to try and prevent them, nothing helped, until a doctor told me about the neti pot and these pre-mixed packets. I use this once a day and twice a day in spring. I no longer buy over the counter products to control my allergies. This product has helped me immensely.

Customer Review: Neilmed vs Sinuair
Summary: 2 Stars

Sinuair wins. Hands down. Avoid this stuff and go with Sinuair.
I've tried everything and spent hundreds on treatments.
Just my two cents.
Anyone else tried both and want to comment?
I'm tired of people posting a review when they've only tried ONE brand in a category. Come on! How do you know it's the best if you've never tried anything else?

Customer Review: Allergy abatement help
Summary: 5 Stars

These packets were suggested by my allergist as the ONLY quality salt used for a sinus rinse. I have had terrible allergies year-round, and along with medication, a sinus rinse is a huge help. I use the NeilMed bottle, and this couldn't be simpler for an every night habit. Staff in the allergist's office use this product too, and I would highly recommend it.
